sssh, this is a painting?! it's marvelously clear and spectacularly lifelike!
i really dig the fact, the butterfly is looking at me
and the imprenatable black background...
but did you paint this right of one specific photograph? did you add anything? like the look of the butterfly, the colouring, the composition?
i have painted in the past of photographs (if i remember right, not /this/ realistic though), but afterwards, i always wondered, if i maybe better skipped all the hard work and just printed the photo on canvas :s
most of the time though, the painting, the brushstrokes, really do add to the picture, but unfortunately, i cannot see your painting in real life
and, of course, you really learn a lot, doing this!
